To configure access to the RDP resources for users and groups, do the following:
1. On the “Security Policies’ page, click the required policy.
2. Double-click any item in the “RDGateway – RDP and Apps” section.
3. In the opened “truePass Application Access Control” window, click the “Add Computer’ button to add an RDP service and put it somewhere on the sheet.
4.1. In the opened “Application Properties” window, set the application name (it will be displayed to the user on the User Portal), IP address and port of the application.
Example of configuration:
4.3. The window “Configure Remote Application Programs (truePass VDI RemoteApp Tool 10.1)” will appear with the list of ennabled programs.
4.4. To add the new program to the list, press “+” button.
4.5. Select the path to program.
Properties of program will appear.
4.6. Enter the name of program (it will be displayed to the user on the User Portal).
Press on “Folder” button to change the application path.
4.7. To change the application icon, press “Icon” button.
The window “Select Icon” will appear.
4.8. To set up icon press “Browse…” button, select the path to the icon and press “OK” button.
4.9. To save the configuration of the new application, press “Save” button.
New application will appear in the list.
4.10. Press “OK” button to save changes.
4.11. To remove selected applications from the list, press “–” button.
4.12. To edit the properties of selected application, press “Properties” button.
For example, select “Windows Calculator”:
The window “Properties of Windows Calculator” will appear.
4.13. To enable VDI for the RDP application, check “Enable VDI (requires configuration on remote host)” checkbox.
4.14. To allow specific applications available to users through a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) session, check “Publish Apps within VDI Session” checkbox.
5. Click the “OK” button.
6. Click the “Add User” or “Add Group’ button to add a user/group from the Active Directory.
7. Double-click the appearing box and enter username or group name.
8. Click the “Add Relationship” button to add connections between users/groups and services.
10. Click the “Apply Changes” button.
