Creating a BOT account for groups of “not OMNIBOX connected” devices is a powerful tool to enforce rules on a group of non-enforced WhatsApp accounts in a specific group where the BOT is a member.
Steps to create a new BOT channel
- Navigate to the Channels screen.
- Click on the [Bot contact].
3. Click on the popup window icon.
4. Submit your new Bot name and admin email.
5. Click on the Finish button.
6. A new channel will be added to the Channels screen
The channel is still in disconnected status, lets connect
7. Click on the Details button
8. Using your personal device, Scan the given QR code using the WhatsApp new device camera mode.
9. Once the QR has been scanned, you should see a success message instead.
